WHAT THEY NEEDED
Hailey knew exactly what she wanted, and what she didn't. She'd watched other weddings feel like an all-day photoshoot, and she refused to let that happen to hers. Nick wasn't a "photo person" and he wanted an hour of portraits, max. Most of all, they wanted their daughter Sloane woven into the day in a way that felt natural and beautiful, not forced.
WHAT WE DID
We started working together months before the wedding, building a custom timeline with Hailey that protected the moments she cared about most, while building in breathing room so nothing felt rushed. We scouted the first look location in advance, planned the family photo list together (no small task with 40+ family members on Nick's side alone), and mapped the portrait route around the golf course to keep everything moving naturally. On the day, we operated as a two-person photography team so every angle, every candid, and every reaction was covered without anyone feeling like a camera was directly in their face.
