Owen and Justine Anderberg Wedding at HCP Gardens in Victoria
What were your favourite moments during your Wedding Day?
Everything! We loved having our family with us, including the dogs! All the time spent in the gardens were beautiful. We loved having a moment back at the hotel to enjoy our cupcakes together. Having Hayley to capture our day is also a huge highlight of the day, and we can forever have the beautiful images and video to look back on.
Did anything surprise you about your Wedding Day? What was the outcome?
Having a small wedding during covid wasn't our original plan, but the day turned out beautiful and we wouldn't change a thing about it! A small intimate wedding gives many opportunities to enjoy each other and the day.
Were you nervous? If so, how did you get rid of the nerves?
Yes! But I just looked at my partner and the nerves melted. Remembering to breathe is huge, and just take in your surroundings.
What advice would you give to future couples for their wedding?
Breathe. The day will be amazing. If it wasn't your original plan or things change the day of, the most important thing is you're together. Make sure you take moments to just be together and take in the day. It will go by so fast. Also, make sure you have a good photographer to capture your day! It's amazing to have photos and especially a video to look back on the day, and to share with all our family and friends who couldn't be with us on the day.

This wedding was meant to be. Justine told me that her and Owen actually lived in the same building years ago. Justine's younger brother would always talk Owen into playing video games with him. Fate brought them together with a little help fro Justine's brother, and here they are years later getting married in the HCP gardens in Victoria, BC.
I loved photographing and filming this wedding. It can be challenging doing both video and photo but so relaxing with a small wedding like this one. These two made it easy to capture the big moments between them.
After exploring the HCP Gardens, having the wedding ceremony, taking family photos, and of course photos of the newly weds, we went back to the Parkside Hotel for some delicious gluten free cupcakes from Origin Bakery. If you can believe it, all of this took place within about 3 hours!
