I have been specializing as maternity photographer and newborn photographer in Campbell River, Victoria BC and all over Vancouver Island for over 6 years now.

If you haven’t noticed already, my style is very bold, yet natural. I like to take photos of the real moments in life rather than setting up a studio to take the photos. Most of my images are taken outdoors or in the comfort of your own home. During these sessions, I will help guide you through certain poses and prompts, while also allowing for natural moments.

I take bright and colourful images to create art that you can cherish for life, whether you hang these images on your walls, or create look-books to go through as the years go by. As a parent, these moments go by in the blink of an eye. It’s as if they feel slow in the moment, but then all of a sudden 6 months have passed and everything is different already.

What Is Your Style Like?

When it comes to Maternity or Newborn photography, and all photography for that manner, I love to utilize natural light to create vibrant, positive, bold images. My photos embody your personality and represent your family the way you really are. I love organic, candid moments. As a Maternity Photographer and Newborn Photographer, I am very comfortable giving lots of direction for those couples or families who need guidance!

What Are Your Package Like?

oI offer maternity and newborn photography sessions for whatever you are looking for! I have mini sessions for those who only need a few images, along with longer sessions that can last up to an hour. These bigger packages are great because we are not rushed for time and there is time to get comfortable in front of the camera. It all depends on what you are looking for. Here is a rough estimate of what your photoshoot could look like:

Mini Photoshoot Package:

20 minutes of photography

15 high-res edited images

Regular Photography Package:

20-50 minutes of photography

40 professionally edited images

Up to 8 people

Slideshow Included

Black & White Images

Extended Photography Package:

Up to 75 minutes of photography

60 professional edited images

1 Outfit/location change if wanted

Option to have up to 10 people

What Do We Wear?

This is the ultimate question I receive before a photoshoot. What on earth do we wear? I love the idea of looking up outfits on Pinterest and sharing these with each other. I would love to help you create the outfits that will get you the vibe/tone of photos you are looking for 🙂

A few quick tips: Dress for the weather, choose complementary colours, layer your outfits, and potentially match the colour to the photoshoot location. Try to avoid matching your outfits completely, and wearing clothing with lots of patterns and bold colours.

As an experienced Maternity Photographer, we can discuss different outfit ideas on a call before the Maternity Photoshoot.

When Do We Receive The Photos?

You will receive your maternity photos and newborn photos roughly one month after the session takes place, but often times it can be much sooner. Usually if you are due within the month, I put a rush order on it as I know those photos can be time sensitive!

With every gallery, it takes time to sort through every image and pick out the best ones, edit them, and upload them to your digital album! I also create a slideshow with the two larger packages so that you and your family can relax on the couch, and watch your photos come to life on the TV!

What Is The Cost?

It depends if you are looking for a mini session or a large family session, whether you only want a few images, or the entire gallery! Prices start at $320. Typically, couples on average spend $590 on their session and oftentimes buy prints for their walls afterward.

What If I Book Both Maternity & Newborn Photos?

If you are interested in both Maternity photos and Newborn photos, I offer these as a package deal! If you decide on the Regular or Extended sessions, it is $100 off when you book both the maternity shoot and newborn shoot at the same time.
